Amy Palermo is the Chief of Content for Education at WOSU Public Media, where she leads a team of educators dedicated to helping children learn. Amy began her educational career in Texas, as a Middle School Language Arts teacher, yearbook advisor, and Elementary School Curriculum Integration Specialist. Her passion for teaching and educational technology was fueled when she saw first-hand the impact technology has on students with special needs, and her experiences have strengthened her commitment to help other educators implement teaching practices that change the landscape of the classroom and empower each child to become a successful learner. Amy has a Bachelor’s in Arts from the University of North Texas and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from The Ohio State University. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Ohio Ed Tech Agencies and the Vice President for ITIP Ohio, a nonprofit organization that serves as the voice of K-12 school system technology leaders in Ohio.
