About This EpisodeCreating a makerspace doesn’t have to be challenging! In this episode, our special guest Rachel Esterline teaches us that creating makerspaces can be easy and fun.
Rachel Esterline is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) teacher for grades 4-8 at Brookville Intermediate School. She has taught many different subjects and grades levels in the last 9 years, but started her journey with STEAM teaching 2nd graders all about the maker movement. Soon after she became a STEM Fellow, she continued her educational path by transitioning to the STEAM movement through various professional development opportunities. Through her teaching, Ms. Esterline wants her students to go on to be independent, thoughtful, risk-taking leaders that will someday change the world.
